When somebody asks you in which type of college you want to do Engineering, most of us would reply with I want to graduate in Top colleges right! Yes there is nothing wrong with that.
Most of the students who just finishes their Inter, they go out and attempt the entrance exam (TS EAMCET) with lot of preparation behind that. Most of them would be getting good ranks and they almost reached their of goal of getting engineering seat in top colleges.
Then What About Others Students! Is that End of Road for Them ?
Not yet all. Engineering isn't that it should only be done in Top colleges, You can study in any of the colleges it's all up to you, it's all depends on what you are going to do in 4 years of engineering, will make you succeed in Life.
Why many of us would choose top colleges ? What will be getting in Top colleges ?

Through EAMCET everyone not gonna get in to top colleges. Only up to certain ranks will be getting in to Top tier colleges. Rest of all would be getting into Tier 2 & 3 colleges. There are lot of factors would be taken into considerations while allocating seats to candidates. The factors may be Rank, Caste, Reservations, Physical Disabilities etc. Anyway candidates who secures top rank will be getting into Top colleges, it may be the college they want to get into or else some other top colleges.
But the problem here for students is who won't get top ranks. Candidates who missed out on top ranks leave out your hopes on getting into top colleges, they won't be anything you much do about it and no body will help you out getting into top colleges apart from if you have some kind of reservations or getting seats in special category or else trying in management quota.
What Else the Students Have To Do Now ?
Who ever would like to do Engineering in top colleges without having much priority with Branch in Engineering. Then at least you have that some percentage of hope of getting into Top colleges by opting other branches. This is one tip that you try out in web options by analyzing the cut off ranks for each branch in top colleges.
The case in getting Top colleges is pick the college, not the branch. Every top colleges cut offs will be different for each branch. There will be some candidates whose just want to do their Engineering in Top most colleges then this trick will be helpful for them.
For example, every college won't be having same cutoff ranks for each branch, there will be different cut offs for different branches, If you opt all those branches from same colleges there may be chance of you being ended up in that college.
The others option that you only got is picking up the best Tier 2 & 3 colleges. The first thing you should do after getting results is analyze the previous years data, how's the cutoff rank for each branch in colleges by doing that you would be getting a fair enough idea on what colleges you would be getting and which branch. All this data will be available in EAMCET official websites and you can refer some other websites too.

The thing is here, pick the Top tier 2 & 3 colleges and put them in a serial order based in your priority, Remember know body will read out your entire web options list after counselling, it is purely based on which college you have opted from starting. For example if you have put a Tier 2 college at below a Tier 3 college, then if you are losing out on getting a Tier 2 college, because there may be chance of getting tier 3 college if your eligible for that, Because you have mentioned it in before Tier 2 college.
